By issuance of Royal Kasho, His Majesty the King appointed Dasho Chencho Tshering, Secretary General of National Council Secretariat as Consul General of the Royal Bhutanese Consulate, Kolkata, India. Consul General, along with recently appointed Ambassadors to Thailand and State of Kuwait received Tashi Khadhar from the Hon’ble Foreign Minister Dr. Tandi Dorji at the Gyalyong Tshogkhang in a simple ceremony today.

Prior to his current appointment, Dasho has served as the Secretary General of the National Council Secretariat for the past five years.

The National Council family would like to offer our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Dasho on his new appointment.
