Six additional laws comes into effect

The National Assembly of Bhutan is pleased to inform the general public that the following Laws passed during the 5th Session of the Third Parliament

The National Assembly of Bhutan is pleased to inform the general public that the following Laws passed during the 5th Session of the Third Parliament has been granted Royal Assent by the Druk Gyalpo and shall come into force as per Section 1 Article 13 of the Constitution:

  1. Budget Appropriation Act for the Financial Year 2021-2022
  2. Supplementary Budget Appropriation Act for the Financial Year 2020-2021
  3. Tobacco Control (Amendment) Act of Bhutan 2021(Consolidated with the Tobacco Control Act of Bhutan 2010)
  4. Tax Act of Bhutan 2021
  5. Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act of Bhutan 2021
  6. Customs Duty Act of Bhutan 2021
  7. Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Bhutan and Green Climate Fund on the privileges and immunities of the Green Climate Fund
