• 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Program Officer

• 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁: Fixed-term (6-month probation, with possibility of permanent employment based on performance)

• 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: JICA Bhutan Office, Thimphu

✦ 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

• Lead and support JICA project formulation and implementation, especially in 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗥𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, and 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿.

• Manage project budgets and procurement in accordance with JICA rules.

• Coordinate with government agencies and development partners.

• Support data collection, analysis, reporting, and logistical arrangements for missions and surveys.

✦ 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

• 𝗕𝗵𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹; applicants preferably between 𝟮𝟰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟯𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗴𝗲, but other age groups may also be considered depending on qualifications and experience.

• 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿’𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲 and at least 𝟯 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

• 𝗙𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝘇𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗵𝗮 (Japanese is an asset)

• Proficient in 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁, 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱

• Experience in above sectors and/or international organizations is highly desirable
