The Department of School Education, Ministry of Education and Skills Development, invites applications from eligible Bhutanese students for three scholarships (one full and two half) to pursue the two-year International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme at Prem Tinsulanonda International School, Chiang Mai, Thailand, for the academic year 2026.

Scholarship Categories

1. Full Scholarship - Covers tuition and boarding (travel and other personal expenses to be borne by the student)
2. Half Scholarship - Covers 50% of tuition and boarding expenses

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Belong to the 2025 BCSE (Class X) cohort; and
• Obtain a minimum aggregate of 80% in English and the best four subjects.

Application deadline: June 18, 2026

Required documents (attested copies)

1. Copy of citizenship identity card
2. BCSE 2025 pass certificate and mark sheet
3. Recommendation letter from the concerned school
4. Merit certificates, if any

Selection Process

• Shortlisted candidates will be announced on June 25, 2026 through the Ministry's website and Sherig Bhutan Facebook page.
• Interviews will be conducted from July 1-3, 2026. Аpplicants must present original documents during the interview.
