The Foundation is pleased to invite applications from six interested individuals to participate in a short-term baseline socio-economic survey under the Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES) initiative in Kana Gewog, Dagana.

This is a short-term engagement offering hands-on experience in field-based data collection, community interaction, and basic data analysis.

Eligibility Criteria

* Minimum qualification: Class 12 and above

* Interest in fieldwork, community engagement, and data collection

* Proficiency in Dzongkha and/or Lhotsam (Nepali) will be an advantage

Assignment Overview

Selected participants will be involved in the following activities:

* Orientation Session (prior to field deployment)

* 2 days of field data collection (baseline survey)

* 1 day for data tabulation and compilation

* 1 day for presentation, sharing of findings, and discussion

Participants will be divided into smaller teams for fieldwork.

Language Requirements

* The survey will be conducted in Lhotsam-speaking and Dzongkha-speaking communities.

* Teams will be formed based on language proficiency.

* Participants are encouraged to assist in translating the questionnaire into simple Nepali for effective community engagement.

Logistics

* Transportation and DSA will be provided

Important Information

* Dates for orientation and fieldwork will be shared with selected participants.

* Selection will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with consideration for language skills.
