We are pleased to announce that the admissions for the MBBS program at Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB) are now open for the Third cohort of students.

All the selected candidates for the MBBS program at KGUMSB, 2025 intake, are required to report to the Faculty of Undergraduate Medicine at Taba Campus as per the schedule provided below.

Reporting Date:  Monday, 2^rd February, 2026

Reporting Time: 9:30 am – 3 pm

Location: Faculty of Undergraduate Medicine at TABA Campus

General Information

1. The students are instructed to bring their parent/legal guardian on the reporting date.
2. The students will have to attend the mandatory Pre-MBBS orientation program scheduled from 4th February 2026 onwards.
3. The formal classes will commence from 9^th February 2026.

Documents/items required at the time of reporting: 

1. Duly filled Admission Form for the Year 2026.
2. Undertaking form for scholarship to be signed by the parent/legal guardian on reporting to the Faculty 
3. Class XII Original mark sheet & photocopy
4. Class X original mark sheet & photocopy
5. Original School leaving certificate & photocopy
6. Citizenship Identity Card photocopy
7. Recent passport-size photo (2)
8. Legal stamps (3)

The students are required to make the following payment:

1. Faculty of Undergraduate Medicine development fund: Nu.1800 (for six years)
2. Security money deposit (refundable): Nu. 6000 (6 years’ program)
3. Mess Money (First month): Nu.3000 
4. Total amount: Nu-10800/-

Hostel Requirements:

1. Bucket 1
2. Water Jug 1
3. Soap case 1
4. Washing brush                        
5. Plate, Mug, and spoon 1 each for personal use
6. Broom (hard and soft) 1 each
7. Pillow 1
8. Pillow cover 2-3 nos.
9. Blanket and quilt with cover 1-2 nos.
10. Bed sheet 2-3 Nos

General Requirements:

1. Gho and Kira
2. Lagay for boys (minimum-2-3 pairs)
3. Tego/Gong for boys (minimum 2-3 nos.)
4. Wonju and Tego for girls (minimum 3 -6nos.) 
5. Black shoes (formal) no heels (minimum 2 pairs)
6. Bath towel 1 no.
7. Face towel 1 no. 
8. Bathroom slippers
9. Black/Navy blue socks for gents (minimum -2 pairs)
10. Sports shoes and attire as required
11. Rachu for girls
12. Kabney for boys
13. Stationaries as required
14. White laboratory coat
15. BoB account number to be opened and TPN Number to be obtained. Note: The student needs to pay the following from your stipend:
16. Mess Nu 3000 /monthly
17. Monthly hostel rent 10% from your stipend (Nu 500)
18. Utility bills
