Call for Student Volunteers – Winter Break Engagement at 4th Drive Gelephu Mindfulness City

Dear Sherubtse Students,

Hope this message finds you all well. As we settle for the winter break, the college would like to invite and encourage you to come forward and register as volunteers for the 4th Drive Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) from 23 - 27 December 2025 - a visionary national initiative guided by the profound wisdom and farsighted leadership of His Majesty the King.

Gelephu Mindfulness City represents a transformative vision for Bhutan’s future: a living expression of His Majesty’s aspirations for the wellbeing, resilience, and prosperity of present and future generations.

Volunteering at GMC during the winter break offers you all a unique opportunity to: contribute meaningfully to a national vision; gain valuable exposure, skills, and practical experience; work alongside professionals, community members, and fellow youth and develop a deeper sense of civic responsibility and leadership.

Your energy, creativity, and commitment as young citizens are vital to bringing this vision to life. By volunteering, you will not only be supporting a noble cause, but also shaping your own growth through service, teamwork, and mindful engagement.

We sincerely encourage all interested students to step forward, register, and make meaningful use of the winter break in service of our nation and His Majesty’s vision.

Let us come together in the spirit of unity, service, and gratitude to contribute our time and effort for the greater good of nation building.

Please note that the College will make arrangements for breakfast and dinner to all volunteers and also arrange accommodation at Pelrithang Higher Secondary School. For other details, DSA will share informations on class group forums.
