The College of Natural Resources, Royal University of Bhutan, Lobesa, Punakha, is pleased to announce admissions to the PhD in Climate Studies for the July 2026 intake under the self-funding mode.

Eligibility criteria

1. Applicants are eligible only if s/he has Honours or Master’s degree.
2. If employed, candidates should provide a letter of consent from their parent organization.

Documents required

1. Application form to be filled in and sent via e-mail with other documents. Download the application form from this link: Application-form-for-PhD-admission
2. Current CV including academic, employment (if any) and publication records.
3. Letter from the current employer (if employed).
4. Motivation letter on pursuing PhD in Climate Studies (300 to 500 words).
5. Research proposal related to climate (700 to 1,000 words).
6. Recommendation letters from at least one academic and/or professional referees.

Admission

1. Application submission DEADLINE is on or before 25 February
2. Document verification: 28 February 2026
3. Start of Semester: 21 July 2026.
