Terms of Reference for the Position of In-charge-cum-Cashier, Petroleum Division(PD)

Duty Station	Tseza FRO, Dagana
Reporting & Supervision	The In-charge-cum-Cashier will report to the General Manager/Manager and finance and Accounts Division (FAD) and work in close coordination with all divisions and staff of the PD and FAD Unit.
Qualification and Experience	• Class XII (Commerce) • Class XII pass and 1 year training (computer, accounting and other) • Preference shall be given to those with experience in relevant field.
Brief functions	The In-charge cum Cashier shall manage the daily petroleum operations, including procurement, storage, distribution, and quality control of petroleum products. The role includes ensuring compliance with all regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines, coordinating with suppliers and transporters for timely supply, and maintaining adequate stock levels to avoid shortages. The In-charge cum Cashier shall also conduct quality checks, update and reconcile data, manage cash collections, and assist in preparing operational budgets to ensure proper resource utilization and cost control.
Knowledge And Skills	Knowledge: • Proficient in basic computer applications. • possesses foundational knowledge of financial accounting principles. Skills: • Advance Excel software skills • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple task functions simultaneously • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills; • Time management skills and ability to prioritize work;
Duties, Responsibilities and Accountability	• Manage the daily operational tasks at the FRO. • Collect cash and reconcile the daily cash collections from the fuel pump operators. • Update the data in the ERP system. • Collect trade receivables at regular intervals. • Conduct marketing at the location and build good relationships with customers. • Maintain safety and hygiene at the FRO. • Carry out any other tasks related to the division/accounts.
