BRITISH IELTS OFFICE IN RIM OPENS ONLY AT 2 pm – 4 pm

RIM is pleased to announce that the British Council IELTS registration for the 22^nd November 2025 IELTS is now open. Please read the following instructions for smooth registration.

Registration Open: 22^nd October, 2025 (first-come first-served basis) and will be closed prior to one-week of the LRW test date.

IELTS Office Location: IT & Library Block, First floor, Room at the entrance of Learning & Resource Development Center (Library), RIM, Simtokha. Open from 2 PM – 4 PM.

Academic: 145
General Training (GT): 5

IELTS Fee: Rs. 19,775/- (Nineteen Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy-Five) only.

IELTS Test: Listening, Reading & Writing(LRW): November 22, 2025, (11:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

IELTS Test (Speaking): Speaking dates and time will be emailed after completing all the registration process. And the speaking venue will held at IT & Library Block (Glass building), Royal Institute of Management.

Test Venue for LRW (Listening, Reading & Writing): will be held at Multipurpose Hall just below the First gate of Royal Institute of Management (RIM), Semtokha, Thimphu

• Fee Payment:

Please read the instruction carefully before making the payment:

• 1. 1. Make payment using the QR code attached
     2. Make payment of Nu. 19,775 by using M-BoB only.
     3. While making payment, please write your name and IOP test date in the remarks section (example Karma, 22^nd November 2025).
     4. You will receive your test date and time in your registered email Id after completing all the registration and payment process.
     5. Candidate requesting for test cancellation/exam postponement needs to inform the coordinator at least 2 weeks before the test date. Informing at last moment will not be considered and candidate will not eligible for refund.
     6. Cancellation/Exam Postponement is only allowed if there are genuine reasons, for that candidate needs to produce the evidence if it is (Serious illness, Loss or bereavement (death case of close family member), loss of original Passport/CID and other justifiable issues (Office meeting and Training).
     7. Administrative fee of Nu. 3300 will be charged for withdrawal or Transfer of exam date.
