The Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan(KGUMS) is pleased to announce the online registration for the previous year class xii pass candidates (from 2024 and below) from schools within and outside the country, with Bioscience stream, wishing to seek admission to KGUMSB programs for the academic year July 2026, are asked to register online. The online registration will open from 15^th January, 2026 at 9:30 a.m and will close on 30 January, 2026 by 5.p.m. The candidates are requested to submit the scanned copies of class xii pass certificate, mark sheets and Citizenship Identity Card  using the link : https://kguis.kgumsb.edu.bt/admission.  

The cutoff point for this registration is 60% and above in aggregate. The fresh class xii pass candidates need not register, they will apply directly to the online admission system, which will be announced later. The Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery program is phased out from Faculty of Nursing & Public Health from the academic year July 2026 and this program will be available only with private Nursing Institutes. 

Points to be noted:

1.Candidates who were already selected in the previous year but not reported or withdrawn are not eligible to apply

2. The candidates must submit authentic documents

3. Incomplete and fake documents shall be rejected 

4. Students who are repeating class xii in 2026 need not register 

5. Candidates who have not studied Dzongkha need to undergo Dzongkha proficiency test.
