Faculty of Postgraduate Medicine (FoPGM), Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of  Bhutan (KGUMSB) is pleased to announce the opening of applications to undergo one year  internship program at Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital (JDWNRH).   

Eligibility: Candidates who have completed their final MBBS examination from colleges and institutes  recognized by Medical and Health Professionals Council (MHPC), Bhutan Qualifications and  Professionals Certification Authority (BQPCA) under the Ministry of Education and Skills  Development (MoESD)

Application Process:  Interested candidates are required to submit the applications with following documents via Intern Portal positively by 5:00 pm,13th June, 2025.

Documents required: 
1.Duly filled internship form 
2.A copy of MBBS transcript/ Marksheet 
3.A copy(s) of class X and XII transcript/Mark sheet 
4.No Objection certificate from the parent institute 
5.A Copy of Citizenship ID card 
6. Forwarding letter from Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC)  

Candidates selected for the Program will have to attend a mandatory 6-days orientation program  which also includes Druk Sokchop Courses Basic Life Support Training and Advanced Cardiac  Life Support before departmental posting commence in JDWNRH. Failing to attend the  orientation program would result in cancellation of the application. Additionally, submission of  application after the given deadline will not be accepted. 

The orientation program will be scheduled from 30th June, 2025 to July 5th, 2025 and selection  result will be announced on June 18th, 2025 in websites and official Facebook page of Faculty of  Postgraduate Medicine, KGUMSB.
