Scholarship to Prem Tinsulanonda International School, Chiang Mai, Thailand

The Ministry of Education & Skills Development is pleased to announce the annual scholarships for the year 2023 for 4 (FOUR) Bhutanese students (Two Full Scholarships and Two Half Scholarships) to pursue International Baccalaureate (IB) for two years at Prem Tinsulanonda International School in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

The Full scholarship covers tuition fees and the residential fee. However, the recipients must bear the travel and other expenses during the two years study period and the half scholarship will have to bear the 5o% cost of the course.

Therefore, interested 2022 BCSE (Class X) cohort of students with a minimum of 8o% aggregate in English plus the best four subjects may apply for the scholarships.

The eligible candidates can apply to the Chief Program Officer, School Liaison and Coordination Division, Department of School Education with the following documents on or before loth June 2023:

1. Letter of Interest

2. Copy of Citizenship Identity Card

3. Pass Certificate and Mark Sheet (BCSE-2o22) Examination

4. Merit Certificates and Recommendations from concerned schools

The Ministry will announce the names of the candidates who have been shortlisted for the interview on its website and Sherig Bhutan Facebook Page on 23rd June 2023. The shortlisted candidates are required to attend the interview on 30th June 2023 and bring the original documents for verification.
