The Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB), is pleased to reannounce the availability of following scholarship (fully funded) offered by JICA Knowledge Co – Creation Program for Long Term Participants (JICA Development Studies Program), as detailed below:

Master of Science in Nursing – 1 slot

This is ONLY for the full-time faculty members from the constituent faculties of KGUMSB.

Eligibility Criteria:

Additional eligibility criteria, as specified below: 

Interested applicants from KGUMSB may kindly submit the following documents to the HR Section – Office of the President, by 31^st July 2024. 

1. Application for the scholarship (Addressed to the President of KGUMSB)
2. Curriculum Vitae
3. Academic Transcripts and Certificates
4. Performance Rating as reflected in the Condition of Services – 2018
5. Recommendation letter from the Head of the Faculty
6. Training Certificates (if any)
7. Security Clearance Certificate (Valid and copy)
8. Audit Clearance Certificate (Valid and copy)
9. A copy of Bhutanese Citizenship Identity Card
10. A copy of Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a competent RGoB medical doctor in the format provided in the General Information Document.
11. Merit/Other certificates (if any)
12. Other additional requirements of JICA Knowledge Co – Creation Program as specified in the scholarship announcement. 

Note:

The candidates will be screened by KGUMSB in consultation with representative from JICA, will be forwarded to JICA Knowledge Co – Creation Program for Long Term Participants (JICA Development Studies Program), for further selection and confirmation of the scholarship. 

The shortlisted candidate may have to submit additional documents as per the requirements of JICA Knowledge Co – Creation Program for Long Term Participants (JICA Development Studies Program), which will be directly communicated to the shortlisted candidates.

The terms and conditions stated under Long Term Training in the Condition of Services – 2018 shall be followed.
