Bhutan Post in collaboration with Battes, India organized a student campaign “Letter to your Favourite person” from 4th July – 20th August 2021.

Children write and share beautiful letters of love thanking their mothers for all that they have ever done for them. It is a heartfelt expression of love in the most beautiful form of communication – through a letter.

Out of the total 3000 materials distributed to 10 schools, only 87 entries from 8 schools were received. Students are required to send a copy of the letter along with a video of them giving the letter to their mother to Bhutan Post.

The entries were evaluated by a committee and the results are as follows:

1st Best entry: Ms. Upashna Basnet, Changangkha MSS
2nd Best entry: Ms. Tenzin Yuden Namgyel, Changangkha MSS
3rd Best entry: Ms. Zhigzang S. Lhazin, Druk School

The best 10 entries will receive cash prize and philately products to encourage further participation among students.
