ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCIES FOR PRE-COMMISSION TRAINING IN INDIA

HEADQUARTERS, ROYAL BHUTAN ARMY

The Headquarters, RBA, Lungtenphu is pleased to announce the following vacancies for the Pre-commission training in India:

Training Institute/Academy	Vacancy	Eligibility Criteria/Conditions
IMA & OTA Chennai (Male)	• IMA 152 – 10 Vacancies (in Dec 2021) • OTA Chennai: SSC 114 – 5 vacancies (in Oct 2021) SSC 115 – 5 vacancies (in Apr 2022)	The candidates meeting the following requirements are eligible and encouraged to apply: •Age: Shall be 26 years and below on 01 Oct 2021. •Marital Status: Unmarried. •Height: Minimum 5ft 6 inches •Education Qualification: Should possess Bachelor degree in any Engineering/IT/other Technical fields OR Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in any field from University recognized by RUB/MoE/BAC. Should have minimum 60% aggregate marks in the Bachelor’s Degree. BSc candidates to have minimum 3 years course duration while Engineering/technical graduates to have minimum 4 years course duration. Should have undergone minimum 3 years full time on-campus based degree program. Other modes will not be eligible. • Should have taken pure science in class XII and secured minimum 60% aggregate (Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English) with minimum 60% in each individual subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and minimum 55% in English.
OTA, Chennai (Female)	•SSC(W) 28 – 24 Vacancies (01 Oct 2021) •SSC(W) 29 – 25 Vacancies (01 Apr 2022)	The candidates meeting the following requirements are eligible and encouraged to apply: •Age: Shall be 26 years and below on 01 Oct 2021. •Marital Status: Unmarried. •Height:Minimum 5ft 2 inches •Education Qualification: Should possess four years full time on-campus Bachelor degree in any Engineering/IT/any other technical fields from University recognized by RUB/MoE/BAC: Should have minimum 60% aggregate marks in the Bachelor’s Degree. Should have undergone minimum 4 years full time on-campus based degree program. Other modes will not be eligible. •Should have taken pure science in class XII and secured minimum 60% aggregate (Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English) with minimum 60% in each individual subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and minimum 55% in English.
NDA & OTA GAYA (Male)	•NDA 147 – 5 Vacancies (in Jan 2022) •TES 46 (at OTA Gaya) – 5 Vacancies (in Dec 2021)	The candidates meeting the following requirements are eligible and encouraged to apply: •Age: Shall be 20 years and below on 20 Dec 2021. • Marital Status: Unmarried. •Height:Minimum 5ft 5 inches •Should produce Class X and Class XII certificates and mark sheets in original from institutes recognized by RUB/MoE or affiliated to BCSEA. •Should have secured minimum 60% aggregate (Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English) with minimum 60% in each individual subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and 55% in English.

Information/Instructions

1. The selection will be based on assessment which will consist of written Exams, physical tests, viva and performance in class X/XII/Bachelor’s degree. Details will be made available to candidates along with their application/registration forms.

2. Application/Registration forms with detailed instructions may be collected from Officer’s Institute, Lungtenphu from 0900h to 1400h from 16 Aug to 30 Aug 2021 (Except Sunday) on payment of Nu. 100/- (One Hundred).

3. Mandatory documents which candidates are required to produce are given in the application/registration form.

4. Interested candidates residing in Red Zone areas may arrange collection of application/Registration form by their representative from the above venue. All interested candidates are advised to and plan their quarantine requirement accordingly as per COVID 19 protocol in the locality.

5. All candidates including those in Red Zones are required to report to Officer’s Institute, RBA, Lungtenphu at 0900h on 02 Sep 2021 with all relevant documents in original for final registration and initial verification.
