The Road Safety and Transport Authority would like to inform the general public that the grace period for transfer of vehicle ownership (without levying fines and penalties) has been extended till 31st December 2021. This is on account of the enormous interest shown by the general public and the back log created by the pandemic during the last grace period.
For kind information, a total of 15,783 vehicle ownership transfer have been effected in the last three months. This was possible because of the kind support and cooperation rendered by the general public.
