Job Description

Position Title: Assistant Media Officer

Grade:  S2

Slots: 01

Employment Type: Regular

Duty Station: Corporate Office, DGPC

Minimum Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor of Digital Communications and Project Management (DCPM)/ Media/Communication/Media/Communication/Bachelor’s Degree in Media and Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Public Relations, Marketing or a relevant discipline

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay Scale: Nu. 26,060-650-39,060
  • Other benefits and allowances as per the DGPC HR Manual

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Class X: Minimum aggregate of 60% (calculated as English + best 4 subjects)
  • Class XII: Minimum aggregate of 60% (Calculated as English + best 3 subject
  • Degree: Minimum aggregate of 60% in Bachelor’s Degree required for the applied post.

Note:

  1. Scanned Copy of Valid Citizenship Identity Card (Both Sides)
  2. Scanned Copy of Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (not older than 6 months). Any overwriting shall not be accepted unless authenticated by the examining doctor
  3. Valid Security Clearance Certificate, which DGPC can check online.
  4. Curriculum Vitae
  5. Mark Sheet AND Pass Certificate for Class X & XII
  6. Mark Sheet AND Completion Certificate for Degree

“An application that is not accompanied by any of the mandatory documents as specified above, whether in part or whole and not clearly scanned, shall be rejected without citing any reason”.

DGPC reserves the right to either increase/decrease the number of intakes or may not take any, depending on the qualification/experiences /capabilities of the interested candidates, and their performance in the interviews. DGPC also reserves the right to select the next candidate based on the merit ranking should a selected candidate withdraw.
