What will you be working on? Position: Assistant Engineer/Junior Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Implement and monitor infrastructure projects of the Dzongkhag.
2. Carries out feasibility studies and surveys.
3. Carries out subsoil investigations if capacity allows.
4. Prepares plans, designs, technical drawings, and detailed cost estimates for works.
5. Participate in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents.
6. Evaluates tender bids and technical proposals.
7. Assists in the administration of contracts for engineering projects.
8. Prepares and maintains accurate records of project progress.
9. Prepare and submit timely progress report of the developmental activities
10. Ensure compliance of the project to approved designs, drawings, standards and specifications
11. Conducts laboratory testing of materials.
12. Provides engineering data and cost estimates for the organization’s budget.
13. Assist Chief District Engineer in preparation of Environmental Impact
14. Assessments (EIA) of projects and programs.
15. Liaise with ROID/MoIT for project planning and design requirements if necessary.
16. Report to Chief Engineer

1. Valid Citizenship Identity Card (CID).
2. Class X (Grade 10) Academic Transcript and Certificate.
3. Class XII (Grade 12) Academic Transcript and Certificate.
4. Diploma Academic Transcript and Certificate.
5. Valid Medical Certificate (issued within six months prior to the date of appointment).
6. No Objection Certificate (NOC), if currently employed.
7. Valid Security Clearance Certificate.
