The Dzongkhag Human Settlement Sector, Mongar would like to notify all the concerned land and property owners including government institutions, cooperate offices and NGOs bearing urban plot ID that the annual land taxes and urban house taxes are to be paid before 31st december, 2019 to Accounts Office during the office hours. The Land taxes can also be paid through bhutan online land taxes system (bolts).
Therefore, all are requested to pay land taxes for the year 2019 and urban house
taxes from the year 2014-2019 before due to avoid unnecessary accumulation of
penal interest. Defaulters shall be imposed a fine of 24 % per annum of the due
date thereof in accordance with the provision of Taxation Policy 1992 and Land
Act 2007.
