About the Role

We are looking for a young, energetic, and motivated Bhutanese individual to join us as an Apprentice Wine Maker. You will train directly under an Expert Wine Maker, gaining hands-on experience across every stage of production — with the opportunity to grow into Bhutan's first professional wine maker. 

Key Responsibilities

• Wine making and day-to-day winery operations — this will be your primary responsibility. 
• Learn the wine making process under the guidance and mentorship of our Expert Wine Maker.
• Support vineyard operations and harvests, particularly during the first few years.
• Travel to partner vineyards to gain practical experience in vine cultivation.
• Take on physical, hands-on work, including lifting and operating machinery and equipment such as tanks. This is not a desk job.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Science (Biology or Chemistry preferred). Candidates with a High School Science qualification will also be considered.
• A clean criminal record.
• Good physical health and fitness, given the hands-on nature of the role.
• A genuine interest in wine making or spirits (such as Ara) is an advantage.
