We're Hiring - Software Engineers (Backend)

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Backend Engineer to be part of the SELISE Engineering team. The successful candidate will work closely with product and business teams to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure systems that power our applications and services.

What You Will Do

-Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, emphasizing software quality and craftsmanship.

-Follow established patterns and approaches within existing code bases with ease.

-Follow a TDD approach to application development using RSpec and related tools.

-Participate in the design process and code reviews.

-Work mostly on clearly defined and scoped individual features or problems.

-Be an impactful part of a small and passionate team.

-Design application architecture and database models.

-Improve and maintain applications after deployment.

Who You Are

- You have 1- 4 years of professional experience.

-You have strong programming and analytical skills and love problem solving.

-You have outstanding communication skills and are willing to work with a team.

-You are a good decision maker with excellent logical solving capability.

-You can provide feedback to the team/individual and receive feedback from the team for your improvement.

-You have prior experience in any Backend language (example Ruby on Rails, Nest JS, Java, .NET)

-You have experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB (which will be a plus point).
