This intensive course introduces participants to the traditional art of bootmaking, blending both Mongolian and Bhutanese styles.

This intensive course introduces participants to the traditional art of bootmaking, blending both Mongolian and Bhutanese styles. Trainees will learn essential skills such as leather selection and preparation, cutting patterns, hand-stitching, and shaping techniques, followed by decorative embroidery, applique, and traditional motifs unique to each culture. By the end of the 2 months, participants will craft their own pair of handmade boots, gaining hands-on experience in preserving and innovating these timeless crafts.
Program Details:
Duration: Two (2) Months
🗓 Start Date: 9th March 2026 - 9th May 2026

Eligibility:
- Desuups and Gyalsups who are interested in learning about the Bhutanese and Mongolian Style of Boot Production.
