BRETS and DNCP are two inaugural projects under the Royal Project Office for Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC).

BRETS (Bhutan Regenerative Engineered Timber Systems) is the first large-scale Mass Engineered Timber (MET) initiative in Bhutan, introducing post-carbon construction and advancing timber-based sustainable building systems in GMC.

DNCP (Dzong Neykhang Chorten Project) is the inaugural spiritual monument construction for GMC, comprising the Shambhala Dzong, Gyenyen Neykhang, and Chorten. The project establishes the spiritual foundation and cultural connection of Gelephu Mindfulness City.

BRETS and DNCP, the inaugural projects under the Royal Project for Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC), are pleased to announce vacancies for the following technical and non-technical positions.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis; therefore, applicants are strongly encouraged to apply early.

All documents must be uploaded with viewer access granted to all.

Incomplete submissions or files without access permission will lead to disqualification.

● The BRETS and DNCP Office reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel the number of intakes based on the qualifications, experience, and capabilities of applicants.

1	PLC Programmer BRETS	● Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, or Automation Engineering ● Relevant experience in the industrial production processes involving PLC programming.	1	● Program, operate, and troubleshoot PLC systems ● Support automation processes and ensure smooth operation of control systems ● Work with timber processing and regenerative systems including machinery, conveyors, presses, kilns, and PLC-controlled equipment
2	Maintenance Engineer/ Technical Service Engineer BRETS	● Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering ● Relevant Experience in Maintenance of Electrical and Mechanical Systems	3	● Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance ● Supervise technicians ● Ensure machinery reliability and continuity of production
3	Jr. Engineer(Operations) BRETS	● Minimum of a Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering ● Relevant experience in automated machine operation.	6	Operate and monitor production machinary Maintain output and operational records. Assist in minor maintenance works.
4	Civil Engineer BRETS	Minimum of a Bachelor’s of Civil Engineering/ related field Relevant experience in structural engineering	1	Planning, design, coordination, supervision, and quality control of civil and structural works Ensure stability and load-bearing capacity of timber buildings and components
5	Architect BRETS	Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture Relevant Professional Experience	1	Design buildings and prepare drawings and blueprints Ensure structural integrity, aesthetics, and regulatory compliance
6	Electrical Engineer DNCP	● Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering ● Experience in HVAC, fire alarms or related electrical systems.	1	Plan, design, and supervise electrical works Ensure compliance with codes and standards for Dzong, Neykhang, and Chorten construction

12	Procurement Officer DNCP	Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance other related fields.
