Shortlisting Criteria
Written Exam: 50% Class XII: 25% Diploma: 25%

What will you be working on? Work includes the translation of the engineering principles and theories in the forms of engineering drawings onto the field for the physical construction of projects and infrastructure. He should be able to read and modify the drawings, as required. The JE is also required to be thorough with the use of Measurement Books and MAS registers, the use of which are tedious and requires diligence and meticulousness. Errors in such records can lead to wasteful and overpayments to the contractors.

What we are looking for? 1. Technical Skills
Good understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.
Ability to prepare estimates, BOQs, and basic project reports.
Knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD) is often preferred.
Basic surveying skills (for Civil JE).
Familiarity with site supervision and quality control.
2. Experience
Not always mandatory for Junior Engineer posts.
If required, usually 0–2 years of relevant experience.
3. General Competencies
Ability to work in teams and coordinate with contractors and supervisors.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Basic knowledge of procurement procedures and government norms
Willingness to work on-site, often in field locations.
