The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources is pleased to announce the availability of a Master's Scholarship (Engineering) in Hydrogen Energy under the GX Human Resources Development for Energy Sector program at the Kyushu University: School of Engineering or the Kogakuin University: School of Engineering, Japan. The scholarship will cover tuition fees, health insurance, living allowance, and other benefits for a duration of 2 years 6 months tentatively, fully funded by JICA.

Interested in-service candidates from the Department of Energy who fulfill the eligibility criteria 7.7.4 as per the BCSR 2023 may apply. Additionally, candidates must fulfill the following criteria to apply for the scholarship:

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering;
2. Must be thirty-five (35) years of age or below (as of April 1st, 2026).

Documents to be submitted:

- Zest generated CV

- Valid Security Clearance and Audit Clearance

- Bachelor's Certificate and Marksheet

- Valid Medical Certificate

The submission deadline for applications is December 1, 2025 and the application along with the required documents may be submitted online to pwangmo@moenr.gov.bt  on or before the close of the deadline. The selected candidate will be required to submit additional documents to the JICA country office as per their requirement and undergo further screening process.
