The GovTech Agency is piloting an AI and Computer Vision (CV) Proof of Concept to improve urban parking and traffic management. The initiative aims to use AI-powered CCTV systems to detect parking availability, identify illegal parking, and monitor traffic flow in real time.

The GovTech Agency is piloting an AI and Computer Vision (CV) Proof of Concept to improve urban parking and traffic management. The initiative aims to use AI-powered CCTV systems to detect parking availability, identify illegal parking, and monitor traffic flow in real time. This effort supports Bhutan’s Smart City and Digital Transformation goals for efficient and
citizen-centric urban services.
 
GovTech Agency invites firms, startups, and academic institutions to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) to develop and demonstrate innovative Computer Vision in smart parking for Traffic Management.
Submit the Expression of Interest (EOI) using the attached submission form by 20 November 2025. For detailed information please refer to the attached EOI document.
