Position: Operations Coordinator

Position overview:

We are looking for a passionate and organised Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who loves travel, enjoys working with people and has a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

You will be responsible for coordinating tours from start to finish, managing reservations, ensuring smooth

communication with our guides and logistics team and being the main point of contact for our guests and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of tour operations.

• Manage reservations, hotel and vehicle allocations and activity scheduling.

• Communicate with guides, drivers and service providers to ensure seamless tour delivery.

• Serve as the main point of contact for both guests and the operations team on the ground.

• Handle last-minute changes, problem-solve during tours, and ensure guest satisfaction.

• Maintain accurate records of bookings, guest details and tour reports.

• Ensure that each tour reflects the values and high standards of Himalayan Echoes.

Requirements:

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

• Fluency in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus).

• A passion for Bhutan’s culture, tourism and hospitality.

• Prior experience in tourism operations or guiding is an advantage.

• Basic computer skills (email, Excel, booking systems, etc.).
