Royal Thimphu College (RTC) is announcing to offer a two-day summer photography workshop from July 17- 18, 2021 at the RTC campus near Thimphu, where you will learn the basic photography principles to take dramatically better photos by mastering your DSLR/Mirrorless camera.
The Workshop focuses on 3 key aspects of photography that can be applied to your travel & street photography skills:
1. Learn to apply powerful creative skills with your basic knowledge.
2. Learn new and simple lighting techniques outdoors
3. Learn to see and create more persuasive and powerful images.
What you will learn in this Workshop:
- How to Hold the Camera for optimum effect
- What is Shutter Speed
- What is Aperture
- What is ISO
- Click a perfect picture in Manual
- Depth of field
- Motion and photography
- Rule of third
- Rules of composition and aesthetics
- How to frame and compose a perfect picture
- How to focus on the right subject
Live demonstrations will be given on all the topics and students will be able to practice in real time.
Participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own cameras. Limited cameras available on sharing basis can be provided to those candidates who do not own cameras for the duration of the training.
