The Royal Institute of Management is pleased to announce that admissions are now open for the (SELF FUNDING ONLY) Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) 2025 intake.

Selection Criteria

Selection for interested candidates who have passed Class 12 will be based on the following two components:

• Ability Rating – 70%
• Aptitude Test – 30% 

Eligibility Criteria:

Note : 

• At least one subject marked with * is required.
• Both English and Dzongkha are compulsory.

Shortlisting & Aptitude Test Notice

• Shortlisting Date: 12 June 2025, 5:00 PM. Top 70 candidates will be shortlisted based on the ability rating.
• Aptitude Test Date: 16 June 2025, 9:00 AM at Royal Institute of Management, 9:00 AM
• Result Declaration of Ability Rating and Aptitude Test: 18 June 2025 at 5PM
• The aptitude test will be assessed on Computational Thinking, Problem Solving Skills and Strategic and Critical Thinking

1. Duration: 18 Months excluding term and winter breaks
2. Student intake: Maximum of 35 candidates will be admitted in the Diploma of Information Technology. If the total number of students enrolled in the course is less than 15, then the course will NOT be conducted. Remarks : 32 (general public), 3 (reserved for DSP)
3. Tuition  Fee: A sum of Nu.96,600.00 (Ninety six thousand six hundred) only will be charged for the whole course. The fee will be payable each term are, as follows:

1. The Term Fees will be collected  before the start of each terms (on or before 6th July) and late fees are applicable
2. Candidates sponsored by Companies will be charged a sum of Nu.144,900 (One hundred forty four thousand nine hundred) only.

• Opening of Online Application:  Register here
• Closing of Online Application  : 8 June, 2025 (5 PM)
• Confirmation of seats with Students: 19 – 24 June 2025
• Final Result Declaration: 25th June, 2025

Accommodation

Boarding facilities will be provided to the interested candidates. Residents have to pay a sum of Nu.2750/- per    

month as hostel and mess fee.

Security Deposit  (refundable): Nu. 2000 (Two Thousand only payable at the time of admission)
