The Department of School Education, Ministry of Education and Skills Development invites applications from interested candidates for two scholarships (one full and one half) for Bhutanese students to pursue a two-year International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Prem Tinsulanonda International School, Chiang Mai, Thailand, for the academic year 2025.

1. Full Scholarship: Covers tuition and boarding (recipient must bear travel and other expenses)
2. Half Scholarship: Covers 50% of tuition and boarding

Eligibility: Students from the 2024 BCSE (Class X) cohort with a minimum of 80% aggregate in English and the best four subjects.
Application Deadline: June 12, 2025

The following documents must be attested.
1. Copy of Citizenship Identity Card
2. BCSE 2024 Pass Certificate and Mark Sheet
3. Recommendations from the concerned schools
4. Any Merit Certificates

Selection Process:
• Shortlisted candidates will be notified on June 16, 2025, via the Ministry’s website and Sherig
Bhutan Facebook page.
• Interviews will be held on July 3, 2025. Originals of all documents must be presented during the
interview.
