The Annual General Meeting of Bhutan Tennis Federation was hosted in the National Tennis centre on 5th June, 2021 Changlimithang, Thimphu. Dasho Palden Dorji the President of BTF welcomed executive members, representative of Bhutan Olympic Committee, Dzongkhag representative and the focal person of School Tennis Initiative.

It was a proud and remarkable moment for the BTF for successfully launching the Archive book named “Development of Tennis in Bhutan, A journey through time” and International Tennis Federation recognizing WHITE LEVEL for the coaches system in Bhutan. It’s an honour and privilege to have President launching the Archive Book and congratulating on WHITE LEVEL to coaches team of BTF.

It was a surprise and sad moment for BTF when committee received a resignation letter from Ms Sonam Yangchen because of her engagement at work. Ms Soanm Yangchen has been very instrumental, an expert herself in the field of tennis and contributed a lot for the development of tennis during her tenure.  The President and all the executive members thank her and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the assistant render from her.

Ms. Yeshey Seldon a focal person of the SSI was elected unanimously with the Yes Votes from the executive members to fill up the vacant post as the eminent of BTF executive member.
