Course Name: Masters of Business Administration (MBA)

Course Date: 15^th February 2025 till June 2026 (16 months) 

Institute: Royal Institute of Management (RIM), Thimphu

University: University of Canberra, Australia

Slot: 3

This is ONLY for the employees of the constituent faculties and Office of the President, KGUMSB. The terms and conditions stated under Long-Term Training in the Condition of Services – 2018 shall be followed.

Eligibility Criteria: 

• Bhutanese citizen;
• Regular employee of the University;
• Has at least completed the probation period at the time of commencement of course;
• Is less than or equal to 50 years of age at the time of application;
• Relevant of course to the current position of work;
• Has served equal duration of EOL where the duration of EOL availed is less than 1 year;
• Has served at least 1 year if the EOL availed is more than 1 year.

Disqualification:

An employee shall not be eligible for long-term training when:

• Scholarship granted previously was terminated by the University/Institutes/Granter for violation of training and/or other related rules and regulations;
• Has been nominated/short-listed for another training programme, pending the declaration of result;
• Course is not  directly relevant to the current post/profession;
• Discontinued previously a training program with reasons within his/her control;
• Not fulfilled the training gap requirement;
• Currently on EOL and Secondment.

Interested applicants may kindly submit the following documents to the HR Division, Office of the President, by 18^thNovember 2024 (5PM):

1. Inservice Training Form (As per the CoS – 2018) 
2. A copy of Class XII and Degree Certificates and Transcripts 
3. CV (Contact Details, detailed information about the qualification history, service history and training details) 
4. Letter of Intent 
5. English Language Proficiency Certificate (issued by BCSEA)
6. Performance Rating of 3 years as reflected in the Condition of Services – 2018 
7. Recommendation Letter through respective HRCs
8. Security Clearance Certificate (Valid and copy)
9. Audit Clearance Certificate (Valid and copy)
10. A copy of Bhutanese Citizenship Identity Card
11. A copy of Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a competent RGoB medical doctor
12. Training Certificates, Merit/Other Certificates (If any) 

Note:

The selected candidate may have to submit additional documents as per the requirements of University of Canberra, which will be directly communicated to the shortlisted candidates.
