Job Description; Position summary: Performs daily duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and surrounding area under supervision of housekeeping supervisor, Room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems. Individual should maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all housekeeping departmental policies/service and also the hotel's procedures/standards. Additionally, maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Room Attendant Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Report to your duty 10 Minutes before your daily schedule, you will be entitling for one day as day off in a week depending upon the booking status. 2. Dusting the room and furniture daily to mention the good cleaning standard. 3. Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies. 4. Cleans the bathroom and closet, vacuums and racks the room carpet and secure the room in terms of cleanness 5. Replenish amenities according to the operational standards and requirement as per occupancy status of day. 6. Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests all Guest 7. Cleans guest bathroom/bedroom/floor corridor and stair case. 8. Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever the time of day. 9. Maintain positive guest relations at all times. 10. Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately whenever required. 11. Resolve guest complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction whenever required. 12. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas. 13. Empty trash containers and ashtrays daily. 14. Remove all dirty Terries and replace with the clean par to the designated layout. 15. Remove soil, dirt, soap build-up and hair from bathroom mirrors, vanity, sink, toilet, shower walls, bathtub, shower curtain and floor etc. 16. Replace facial, toilet tissue and bathroom amenities in correct amount as per the occupancy status. 17. Inspect condition of bathrobes and replace soiled/damaged ones. 18. Remove dirty bed linen and make up bed with clean linen. 19. Replace laundry bags and slips daily if it’s used. 20. Clean closets and door tracks on check-out rooms, removing dust and debris. Ensure correct amount and placement of hangers, extra blanket/pillow and luggage rack. 21. Dust and polish all furniture and arrangement accordingly. 22. Responsible for replacement of guest complimentary water if required for VIP. 23. Authorize to enter in guestrooms for cleaning and providing turndown services as per requirement. 24. Responsible for following up the standard operating procedures all the time. 25. Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score. 26. Update status of rooms with Front office department and keep the record of same every day. 27. Room attendant responsibilities include changing towels, making beds and cleaning bathrooms. 28. Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy before the guest arrive in the hotel 29. Adhere to procedure and ensure all rooms inspected according to department standards and daily check list. 30. Report any damages, shortcomings, and disturbances to supervisors 31. Check and maintain stock levels and requirements 32. Comply with all rules regarding health and safety of guests and coworkers
