What will you be working on?

Program Officer (Health Emergencies Program):
The Program Officer will manage zoonotic disease programs in the country, oversee strategic planning and implementation of control activities, serve as the One Health focal point, coordinate with health sectors and stakeholders, mobilize funds, provide guidance to districts, and submit progress reports, while being prepared to work during emergencies as needed.
Program Officer (Vector Borne Disease Control Program):
The Program Officer will oversee all vector-borne disease management, coordinate the National Malaria Strategic Plan and relevant guidelines, plan and budget for control activities, engage in fundraising, provide guidance to districts, facilitate collaboration with stakeholders, manage program reporting, and ensure compliance with personnel policies, while being available to respond to public health emergencies as needed.
Program Officer (Nutrition):
The Nutrition Program Officer will lead efforts to address Bhutan's nutritional challenges by implementing and coordinating national nutrition programs in line with health policies. Key responsibilities include developing nutrition policies and guidelines, coordinating program implementation, conducting monitoring and evaluation, providing capacity building and advocacy, supporting research initiatives, and preparing reports. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in relevant software. The officer will work collaboratively with various stakeholders and be adaptable to changing public health environments.

What we are looking for?

Bachelors Degree in Public Health and health science-related field, preferably with experience in program management.(Health Emergencies Program and Vector Borne Disease Control Program).
