NOTIFICATION ON COMMUNITY LOCKDOWN
(NORBUGANG GEWOG)
Subsequent to the detection of 3 additional positive cases from Norbugang Gewog on 1st June 2021, the DC19TF would like to notify the general public of the following.
1.Complete Lockdown shall be enforced in Norbugang Gewog with immediate effect.
2.Movement of people and vehicle to and from Norbugang Gewog shall not be allowed.
However, commuters of other Gewogs through the Highway via Norbugang Gewog
shall be allowed without any stoppage.
3.Shops/roadside vendors in Khandothang and along the Samtse_Norbugang highway
shall remain closed until further notice.
4.People who have visited Dawaling and Yangphelthang on and after 21st May 2021
must be home quarantined.
5.Schools in Samtse town and Khandothang shall remain closed until the contact tracing
is completed.
6.For rest of the Gewogs, Notification on Relaxation of Lockdown Phase I issued on
27th May 2021 shall remain status quo.
We request the individuals with flu like symptoms to visit the nearest flu clinic and
get tested.
We would like to remind the general public to avoid any unnecessary movement, wear face
mask, practice hand washing, maintain physical distance, use Druk Trace app and follow
other health safety advisory of the MoH at all times.
