1. 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 (𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭)

housinng.bt is implementing the Green Recycling and Optimization at Workplaces (GROW) Project, which aims to empower organizations in Bhutan to adopt sustainable waste management practices. The project focuses on raising awareness, conducting waste audits, developing waste management plans, and implementing waste reduction and recycling initiatives within participating organizations.

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐠.𝐛𝐭

𝟐. 𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞

The objective of this consultancy service is to engage a qualified waste management expert to provide technical expertise and support for the successful implementation of the GROW Project.

𝟑. 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤

The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:

𝙒𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙚:

.Review project documents and provide technical guidance on waste management strategies.

.Conduct or oversee waste audits in participating organizations, analyzing waste composition and generation patterns.

.Develop customized waste management plans for each participating organization, including waste segregation, reduction, and recycling strategies.

.Provide training to facility personnel on waste collection, segregation, and proper waste disposal methods at workplace.

𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩:

.Assist in finalizing project documents, including the monitoring and evaluation plan.

.Collaborate with the housinng.bt team on project implementation activities.

.Provide ongoing technical advice and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.

𝘿𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙨:

.Waste audit reports for participating organizations.

Customized waste management plans for each participating organization.

.Training materials and presentations for facility personnel.

Technical reports summarizing key findings and recommendations.

𝟒. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

.Master's degree in Environmental Science, Waste Management, or a related field.

.Minimum 5 years of experience in waste management consulting or project implementation.

.Expertise in conducting waste audits and developing waste management plans.

.Experience in training and capacity building on waste management practices.

.Familiarity with the Bhutanese context and waste management regulations is highly desirable.

.Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

𝟓. 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞

The consultancy service is expected to commence and end within this year (about 3-4months )

housinng.bt reserves the right to terminate this consultancy service at any time with written notice, in the event of unsatisfactory performance by the consultant.

𝟏𝟎. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲

The consultant will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to ensure the confidentiality of all project information
