As Deepawali festival is approaching, Thimphu Thromde in collaboration with Royal Bhutan Police would like to notify all the shopkeepers and vendors to refrain from selling crackers with immediate effect to reduce waste and also for public safety and decorum. We discourage all residents in using any form of fire crackers during the
festival time. If anyone found selling and handling crackers during inspection and monitoring shall be dealt seriously.
