The National Medical Services is pleased to announce the availability of the following Master Program for Medical Laboratory Professionals, funded by the Pandemic Fund Project:

1. Eligibility Criteria
   • Should fulfill all eligibility criteria specified in Section 7.7.4 of BCSR 2023, where applicable;
   • Must be working as a Laboratory Officer; and Clean service record.

2. System-generated Information

The following information/documents shall be generated from ZESt and DMS/PF for shortlisting. Therefore, interested candidates need to verify the information by logging into the Self-Service Portal, ZESt at https://zest.rcsc.gov.bt/within the scholarship application deadline:

• Curriculum Vitae (W);
• Moderation score/Performance Evaluation Ratings (IWP) for the past two financial years;
• Email address and mobile number; and
• Place of posting detail for rural posting weightage.

3. Documents required while applying
   • No Objection Certificate from the parent/working agency.
   • Academic transcripts & certificate o Bachelor's degree: Copy of Certificate and Transcript o Class XII: Copy of Çertificate and Transcript.

4. Application procedure and deadline

5. Shortlisting and Selection procedure
   • All the applicants fulfilling the aforementioned eligibility criteria will be shortlisted. The following selection criteria will be used:
   • Academic (degree)
   • Performance rating (moderation)
   • Rural Posting
   • Interview: 35%
   • Selection of the field of study will be based on the merit ranking of the selection result.
6. Post selection procedure
   • Selected candidates shall explore and secure admission in recognized universities within six months. After the admission is confirmed, HRD will facilitate the Training Process with RCSC and the payment of stipend, tuition fee, airfare and other associated costs will be processed by the WHO Country Office.
   • Selected candidates shall be required to take a drug test and will have to pass the test to be eligible for the scholarship; and

• After the completion of Training, candidates will be placed in health facilities under NMS regardless of the working agency of the candidate.
• Selected candidates shall submit the following documents to the HR Division, National Medical Services after securing admission
• Offer letter;
• Course content;
• Letter of Good Standing from BQPCA
• Valid Security clearance reference no. and date;
• Valid Audit clearance for Studies reference no. and date (attach offer letter as evidence document);

• Medical Fitness certificate; and
• LIT Nomination Application Form.

7. Important Note
   • Only those candidates who are committed to this scholarship are encouraged to apply. If a candidate withdraws after the announcement of the interview result, the candidate shall be liable for HR action; and
   • Applications received without the recommendation of the working agency and with incomplete documents will not be accepted for the purpose of shortlisting.
