At the sidelines of the World Health Assembly, Her Excellency Dasho Dechen Wangmo met her counterpart His Excellency Alain Berset, the Swiss Health Minister. During the brief interaction between Lyonpo and His Excellency, Lyonpo apprised the Swiss health minister on Bhutan’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.Lyonpo also apprised His Excellency on some of the ongoing challenges in the country with regard to the pandemic. She specifically outlined the potential impact that a full blown community transmission could have on the Bhutanese health system.
