What will you be working on? 
Research Services
To undertake research, surveys, analysis for the Members of the National Assembly of Bhutan;
Carry out research and analysis on legislation and policy issues individually or in team and submit to the Committee/Secretariat;
Provide timely reports and reference materials for parliamentary deliberations (committee meetings and sessions);
Provide policy briefs on all parliamentary matters and pertinent issues relevant to the Parliament or Member;
Maintain precise, detailed records of each issues and ensure confidentiality of data at all times;
Prepare comprehensive and accurate research reports, briefs and summaries;
Collaborate with parliamentary committees, members and other stakeholders to fulfill research requirements
Provide timely briefs and reports and analysis on parliamentary proceedings, bills and other relevant topics.
Analyze and summarize complex information for easy comprehension by Parliamentarians
Publishing Research papers and reference materials;
Provide support during parliamentary sessions, including preparing background materials for debates, and preparing daily business orders and questions for question hour sessions;
Assist in the drafting of bills, resolutions, transcribing debates (verbatim) and other legislative documents;
Preparing and finalizing agenda, editing and proofreading research papers;
Translating agenda items, daily notice and order papers, minutes and resolutions, news, research papers, journals and brochures, Royal Commands, and other related documents – Dzongkha to English and vice versa;
Drafting Dzongkha speeches and correspondences;
Translating statutes, Bills, Acts, and procedural rules related to Parliamentary functions;
Drafting and editing resolutions and minutes
Preferably with research skills
