The acute respiratory infection (ARI) and influenza-like illness (ILI) has increased compared to the previous epidemiological week. The COVID-19 positive cases increased by 43.1 % compared to the previous week. A total of 93 new COVID-19 positives were detected from Thimphu, Phuentsholing and Samdrupjongkhar during the week. The cases were put into isolation. Meanwhile 61 cases have recovered during the week (viral clearance after two consecutive PCR assay within 24 hours). The most affected age group for COVID-19 was 15 – 29 years (58.1 %). No COVID-19 or SARI/ILI associated mortality was reported for the week. COVID-19 Integrated FluView_week-17
