Invitation for participation: Leadership Development Programme for P2

The Royal Institute of Management (RIM) is conducting a Leadership Development Programme (LDP) for civil servants in P2 level positions of the Professional and Management Category (PMC) irrespective of superstructure. This development program is conducted in collaboration with the Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC). 

This exclusive program is meticulously designed to cultivate leaders, instilling the requisite mindset and behavioral acumen outlined in the Leadership Capability Framework. Its objective is to impeccably prepare future leaders for pivotal roles by encompassing three comprehensive modules and a culminating Leadership Change Initiative. The entire journey spans six months, promising an evolution that resonates.

Program Modules and Schedule:

To harness the utmost from this enriching experience, participants will engage in pre-workshop assignments, dynamic learning activities during the sessions, and assessment activities post-workshops. A pinnacle of this immersive journey includes crafting a Leadership Change Initiative, to be implemented post-program as a testament to the acquired knowledge.

It's imperative to note that once selected and admitted, commitment to completing the program is mandatory, even in the event of promotion to P1 positions during the course duration.

Eligible P2 civil servants fulfilling the eligibility criteria are requested to register for the course (click here for registration) on or before 08^th December 2023. Final selection results will be communicated via email on 12^th December 2023.

Eligibility criteria

• Civil servants in P2 position.
• Minimum performance rating of “Good” since appointment in P2, if applicable.
• P2 officials across all occupational groups, regardless of superstructure.

Venue: Royal Institute of Management, Thimphu

Number of participants accepted per cohort: 30 officials
