1. Program Details

2. Eligibility criteria:

2.1.The following target groups/agencies are eligible to apply for the scholarship:

2.2. Civil servants applying for the scholarship must fulfill all relevant criteria prescribed in BCSR 2018, and applicants from RUB must fulfill the criteria prescribed by RUB.

3. Documents required:

Eligible Applicants must submit the following documents

3.1.Donor’s Application Form and all the documents prescribed in the form

3.2.Research Proposal/Thesis Plan

3.3.LTT Nomination Application Form from the agency (applicable only to civil servants)

3.4.LTT Review Checklist duly signed by HRO (applicable only to civil servants)

4. Application Procedure and Deadline:
   • For civil servants, the applications must be submitted to the HRDD, RCSC through the respective parent agencies to ensure relevance and eligibility.
   • For applicants from RUB, applications must be submitted to HRDD, RCSC through the relevant RUB focal person.
   • The parent agencies must submit the applications to the HRDD, RCSC by 6-Dec-2023.

(The deadline is based on the application date requirements of the scholarship donor)

Important notes for the agency and the candidate:

Kindly note that this scholarship is co-sponsored by TICA, the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), the Embassy of Sweden in Thailand, and the International Science Program, Uppsala University under the Thai-Swedish Trilateral Development Cooperation Programme. All scholarship entitlements are confined to those offered by them. Therefore, no additional financial benefits from the RCSC/RGoB shall be admissible to candidates under this scholarship.

• This scholarship is open to applicants from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and CLMV countries (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam). Only a total of five from the above countries will be selected. Therefore, the final selection shall depend on the donor agency;
• Since the deadline for submission of applications to the HRDD, RCSC by the parent agencies (PA) is 6-Dec-2023, interested eligible applicants must submit their applications to their PA prior to 6Dec-2023, giving the PA enough time to review the applications for onward submission to the HRDD, RCSC.
