The Election Commission of Bhutan, as required under Section 34 of the Election Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan 2008 is pleased to hereby issue the Final Electoral Roll for the Fourth Parliamentary National Assembly (NA) Elections, 2023-24.
The Final Electoral Roll, after due incorporation of changes received from the Dzongkhags during the “Claims and Objections” period from 21st October to 1st November 2023, has a total of 496836 voters of which 254742 are Females and 242094 Males as of 1st of October 2023, the qualifying date for the NA Elections 2023-24.
The Dzongkhag wise break-up of the Electoral Roll is as follows:
Out of the total registered voters in the country, 125949 have registered as Postal Voters for the National Assembly Elections, 2023-24.
An individual voter can check his/her voter registration status and information about Polling Station on the website of the Election Commission of Bhutan: www.ecb.bt under the “check your enrollment” link using Citizenship Identity Card number and Date of Birth.
The Final Electoral Roll can be inspected at the respective Dzongkhag Election Offices or the Offices of the Returning Officer or at the Election Commission of Bhutan, Head Office in Thimphu.
Issued on the 24th Day of the 9th Month of the Water Female Rabbit Year of the Bhutanese Calendar corresponding to 6th November 2023.
