GYALSUNG TRAINING REGISTRATION NOTICE

(For Gyalsung Training 2024)

In accordance with Section 13 of the Gyalsung Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan, 2022, it is a legal obligation for every Bhutanese citizen attaining the age of eighteen by December 31, 2023, to participate in Gyalsung Training.

Mandatory Registration:

This Registration Notice served in the exercise of Section 65(2) of the Gyalsung Rules and Regulations, 2023, is specifically addressed to individuals who are born in 2005 and also those born after 2005 who are in Class 12 in 2023 and want to apply for Early Enlistment.

Required Actions:

Upon receiving this Registration Notice, please adhere to the following steps:

• Create an Account (Sign-up) and Register: Access the Gyalsung Portal and complete the registration process.
• Update Information: Ensure all mandatory and relevant details are up to date.
• Gyalsung Program Familiarization: Acquaint yourself with the Gyalsung Program available on the Gyalsung website.
• Pre-Engagement Activities: Participate in any pre-engagement or preparatory activities organized by Gyalsung Headquarters.
• Update Personal Information: Keep your personal details, including postal address and contact information, current.
• Deferment or Exemption Application: If applicable, submit a deferment or exemption request using the Gyalsung Portal that can be found on

Registration Deadline:

You are advised to ensure your registration is completed no later than 17^th January 2024. (100 days from 9^th Oct, 2023.)

Medical Examination and Placement: Following successful registration, you will be required to undergo a mandatory Medical Examination. If deemed medically fit, you will receive an Enlistment Notice, offering guidance on the ensuing steps.
