The Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) is pleased to announce the following vacancies for immediate recruitment on regular basis.

1. Eligibility:
   1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the P2 position level of civil service or equivalent position. Additional knowledge, skills and competency relevant to the post shall be given preference for the purpose of short-listing as per the provision of ERA Service Rules and Regulations. Candidates with regulatory experience will have added advantage.
   2. Service Record: Should possess a clean service record and not be convicted by the court of law on any criminal charges.
   3. Age: Maximum fifty (50) years of age as of the last date of application submission specified in the announcement.
2. Remuneration:

1  Any pay revision shall be applied upon approval of the Authority.

1. Interested Bhutanese candidates fulfilling the above criteria may submit the application along with the following mandatory documents to the Assistant Human Resource Officer (AHRO), Administration and Accounts Division, ERA in hard copy on or before 5:00 pm, 7th July 2023:
2. a) Duly filled Job application form (download from www.bea.gov.bt);
3. Curriculum Vitae;
4. Copy of Bachelor’s Degree Certificate and marksheets and Master’s Degree Certificate and marksheets (if applicable);
5. Copy of valid Citizenship Identity Card;
6. Copy of valid Security Clearance Certificate (approved online);
7. A copy of appointment order and promotion to the P2 level or equivalent positions;
8. A copy of the Performance Appraisal for the last three years, if applicable; and
9. A copy of the Audit Clearance Certificate from the Royal Audit Authority with the purpose stated as interview.

Applicants without any of the documents as specified above whether in part or whole shall be rejected without citing reasons. 

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interview. The ERA reserves the right to cancel the recruitment and selection process without assigning any reason thereof. The ERA shall not be liable for any cost and expenses incurred by applicant for submission of the application and attending the selection process.

The selected candidate shall submit a “Valid Medical Certificate” and a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer, if currently employed.
