The Bhutan Badminton Federation organized a National Umpire Badminton course from the 25th to the 28th of April 2023 in Phuentsholing, Chhukha.

The Bhutan Badminton Federation organized a National Umpire Badminton course from the 25th to the 28th of April 2023 in Phuentsholing, Chhukha. The course was aimed at providing the 21 participants with the latest rules and regulations of badminton and introducing them to new umpiring software, which will be used during the upcoming tournament from the 2nd till the 7th of May 2023.

The course was designed to not only gather a pool of umpires in the nation but also keep them up to date with the latest rules and regulations of the sport and with umpiring software technology. The participants were provided with a comprehensive training program covering all aspects of umpiring and officiating in badminton.

Mr. Dorji and Mr. Norbu Dradhul conduct the course. After the course, the participants will officiate the upcoming tournament with the highest professionalism and competence.

The National Umpire Badminton course is an initiative by the Bhutan Badminton Federation, and it will help to raise the standard of umpiring in the country.
