1. Post Title: Chief Executive Officer.
2. Responsibilities: As per the section 9 and 11 of the Electricity Act of Bhutan, 2001 Eligibility:
   1. Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Law, Finance or Management obtained from a recognized university through a regular (full-time) program. Candidates with a Master’s Degree in Energy Economics and Energy Management will be preferred.
   2. Experience: Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience (including a maximum of 18 months of study leave) with at least 3 years experience in the management level that shall include experience as Division Head and above in Public Service and General Manager/Chief Engineers in Corporations and Private companies with strong business acumen.
   3. Service Record: Should possess a clean service record and not be convicted by the court of law on any criminal charges.
   4. Age: Maximum fifty-five (55) years of age as of the last date of application submission specified in the announcement.

1. Duly filled Job application form (download from bea.gov.bt);
2. Curriculum vitae indicating the details of the applicant;
3. Copy of Bachelor’s Degree Certificates and marksheets and Master’s Degree Certificate and marksheets (if applicable);
4. Copy of valid Citizenship Identity Card;
5. Copy of a valid Security Clearance Certificate (approved online);
6. Work Experience Certificate/Letter with valid documentary proof/evidence to show 15 years of work experience;
7. A copy of the office order of appointment/promotion to the GM/P1 level;
8. A copy of the Performance Appraisal for the recent three years, if applicable;
9. A copy of the Audit Clearance Certificate from the Royal Audit Authority with the purpose stated as an interview; and
10. Should submit names of at least three professional referees (one each as Supervisor, Peer and Subordinates) with an email address, office address, and mobile number.

Additionally, the selected candidate may be asked to submit a “Valid Medical Certificate” and a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer, if currently employed.
