Contract No. and Title: DB-01: Construction of water treatment plant for Pamstho, Thimphu (Design, Build and Operate for 2 years)

Deadline for submission of Bids:  10:00 hrs on 6th March 2023 (Bhutan Standard Time)

1.         The Kingdom of Bhutan has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Water Flagship Program Support Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

2.         The Thimphu Thromde (Municipality), (“the Employer") invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the constructiondistribution network for Pamtsho, Thimphu ("the Work").

3.       Open Competitive Bidding (OCB-national) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One–Envelope Bidding Procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.  

1. Eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

1. Key Construction Experience Requirement: Participation in at least one contract that have been successfully or substantially (95%) completed within last 7 years and that is similar to the proposed works, where the value of the Bidder’s participation in the contract exceeds BTN 30.7 million
2. Key financial requirement: Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of BTN 61.4 million

To purchase the bidding document in English, the eligible bidders should write the to address above requesting the bidding documents for " DB-01: Construction of water treatment plant for Pamstho, Thimphu” andpay a non-refundable fee of BTN 4,500/- by cash between 9:00 hours and 16:00 hours (Bhutan Standard Time) on any working day from 02thFeb 2023 to 06th March 2023.
